Royal London staff take on Bath Half for Bath Cancer Unit Support Group

members from insurance company Royal London are set to take on the Bath Half on
Sunday 11th March in support of the Bath Cancer Unit Support Group

London’s Bath office has supported BCUSG since January 2017 and employees at
the firm, which is based on Trim Street, have already raised more than £45,000
for the charity.

provides a range of equipment and facilities for cancer patients at Bath’s
Royal United Hospital (RUH) and has a fundraising target of £369,822 in total
for three new projects that will improve outcomes for local cancer patients.

London staff members are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the
cause by completing the 13.1 mile distance.

Chairman, Mike Taylor, said, “To
date they have raised the fantastic total of £45,678. Royal London have been
extremely generous and supportive; they’ve enthusiastically embraced the
partnership and done some impressive fundraising.

local cancer patients when staff take part in the Bath Half Marathon. We look
forward to cheering them across the finishing line.”

Other fundraising activities
undertaken by Royal London include a 50-mile Jurassic Coast walk, quiz nights,
raffles and other events.
